I remember seeing this on the ARTS channel (Classic Arts Showcase) years ago...based on Rodin's sculpture, "The Eternal Idol", a ballet sequence set to the larghetto movement of Chopin's 2nd Piano Concerto by Michael Smuin.   Page/Endnote Cross-Index for  Infinite Jest A brilliant masterpiece,  Infinite Jest  by  David Foster Wallace  is an unusually long and complex novel. It includes essential content in the form of copious endnotes: viz., 388 numbered notes placed at the end of the novel.  This index allows the reader to locate the page number where each of the book's endnote numbers appears in superscript in the main body of the novel.  This is particularly useful to those who listen to the  Hatchett Audio  audiobook, narrated by Sean Pratt, ( ISBN 9781611133868 ) because the endnotes themselves are not included. Instead, the voiced endnote number is inserted where it appears in the novel, and the reader must then consult the printed copy of the book for the endnote content.  It thus becomes useful to be able to see the endnote in context on the corresponding page; e.g.:  375: 143, 144  indicates that  endnote numbers 143 and 144 ...
